Wanna be in the movies? The director of a feature film, Return, is looking for extras and background actors to appear in the film when it starts shooting in October.
The film will star Linda Cardellini, Michael Shannon and Tim Blake Nelson in a story about a woman (played by Cardellini) who returns home from war to her husband (portrayed by Shannon) and kids in a small town and struggles to readjust. Nelson plays an older war vet who befriends her.
Liza Johnson will direct the film.The director of the feature film is Liza Johnson, a former fellow at the Sundance Institute, wrote the script. The executive producer is television reporter and host, Meredith Vieira.
The producers say they’re looking for all types and all ages, and plan to be filming in the Newburgh area for the month of October. Anyone interested can attend an open casting call from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29 or from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, October 2 at the Newburgh Actors Studio, 784 Broadway, Newburgh.
