Recently, Newburgh Free Academy Liberal Arts and Science House students, along with teachers Karen Stafford and Chris Cotton, organized a food drive to support the food pantry at Safe Homes of Orange County in Newburgh.
According to Stafford, the entire Newburgh Free Academy faculty, staff, and students took part in the collection drive, which included diapers for children.
Safe Homes of Orange County works to eliminate all forms of domestic violence through education, outreach and provision of services to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
