If you drive, bike, walk or take in the bus in the greater Newburgh area then you probably have something to say about the future development of roadways in the region.
The public is invited to share their ideas about area transportation in a roundtable discussion to be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Newburgh Town Hall, 1496 Route 300 Newburgh, NY as part of the Newburgh Area Transportation and Land Use Study, a project of the Orange County Planning Department.
At the roundtable, you will learn about how the roadway network has evolved over the last 75 years and what the goals of the study are. You are also welcome to share your ideas in a discussion of where transportation improvements and new roadways might be necessary to accommodate the area’s future transportation needs.
If you plan on attending the meeting, please call or email Virginia Mold at 845-855-7077. For additional information, visit the Newburgh Area Study Website: www.newburghareastudy.info.
