A 17-year-old city of Newburgh man has been charged with murder and robbery in the homicide of 34-year-old Jeffrey Henry. The arrest came after a lengthy investigation into Henry’s shooting death at 54 Chambers Street in the early morning hours of December 15, 2010.
City of Newburgh and the New York State Police Major Crimes Unit arrested Anthony Baynes in the town of Cornwall on April 6.
The homicide occured at 54 Chambers Street.
Baynes has been charged with multiple felonies, including murder in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, assault in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
