Hip Hop Seasons Promises to Educate/Entertain

From a world of poverty and social injustice, a group of poets and musicians from Newburgh and beyond banded together to bring a message of empowerment to young people from Alaska to Texas

This weekend, beginning on Thursday, April 21^st, the ReadNex Poetry Squad will entertain and challenge all those who cross the threshold to enter the 4^th Annual Hip Hop Seasons at Newburgh’s Railroad Playhouse.

The Poetry Squad members are artists, educators and activists but, above all, believers in the power of the word and music to transform the negative into the positive.
