Have you been involved in the series of workshops about the Newburgh Area Transportation and Land Use Study? The workshops have been held during the past two years and now the project team is ready to present its recommendations.
A presentation and interactive discussion of the study findings will be held on Tuesday, June 14, at the new Kaplan Hall at SUNY Orange, on Grand and First Streets in Newburgh.
The project team plans to present recommends for transportation and land use improvement throughout the greater Newburgh area. It will include regional transportation responses to growth, local traffic improvements to handle congestion and strategies for protecting community character and the environment.
The project leaders ask that people contact them in advance if planning to attend. You can call or email Virginia Mold at 845-855-7077 or vmold@archstreetcommunications.com. Organizers also want to encourage public officials to attend the meeting so that a discussion of how the recommendations might be implemented could take place as well.
