The opening of the City of Newburgh Aquatic Center at Delano Hitch Park is scheduled for Saturday, July 2. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Daily or seasonal passes will be required. The cost for a seasonal pass for children ages 5-18 who are City residents is $15; the charge for adult residents 19 and older is $40.
Non-residents ages 5-18 can obtain seasonal passes for $40; the charge for adults 19 and older is $80.
Daily Pass will cost $1 per session for children 18 and under; $2 for adults. Private campers must obtain an application; admission is $2 per camper.
Proof of residence will be required for seasonal passes. To apply, go to the City of Newburgh Activity Center 401 Washington St.
A limited number of free family season passes for City residents only are available by raffle for families of four or more. Free raffle tickets are available at the City Clerk’s Office, 83 Broadway between 8:30 a.m. -4 p.m. Monday- Friday. The raffle will end on Friday, July 8, 2011.
