The Farmer’s Market at Downing Park will be open on Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm, despite on-going construction on Route 9W. Authorities in the city of Newburgh said that vendors can enter the park from South Street and customers can park in public spaces along South Street.
City Engineer Crajg Marti said that Argenio Brothers, the contractor working on the re-construction of Route 9W, is trying to minimize the impact of construction on Downing Park.
The open air farmer’s market is scheduled to run every Friday through October 30th.
