The River Rose.
Supporters of Downing Park are taking a late summer cruise on the River Rose to raise funds for on-going projects in the historic park. The public is invited to come aboard on Sunday, August 28, from 6 to 9 pm for a sunset tour of the Hudson River’s Newburgh Bay.
Folks can enjoy appetizers and a DJ. There will be a cash bar. Tickets are $40 a piece and are available by calling (845) 565-5559.
The event is a fundraiser for the Downing Park Planning Committee and all proceeds will fund restoration work, operating expenses and programming.
