Take a fall cruise to Bannerman Island on Sunday, September 25, where you will be entertained by the Irish & American folksinger Danny Quinn, who is performing a benefit concert to help raise funds to stabilize the Bannerman Island Tower Structure.
Noted puppeteer Bill Diamond, who is sponsoring the benefit, will also be on hand for the festivities.
Participants will leave the Torches Landing at the Newburgh waterfront at 3 pm for a ride on the Pollepel motor vessel to Bannerman’s. Once on the island in the middle of the Hudson River, guided tours will be offered.
