On Wednesday, Sept. 21, the City of Newburgh Department of Public Works will conduct a free pickup of certain storm-damaged items. Appointments must be made for pickup, and the only items that will be picked up are furniture, carpeting and appliances damaged in the recent storms, in addition to the regular collection of yard waste.
No building materials or household hazardous waste will be accepted. Please call the Department of Public Works at 565-3297 or 565-1082 to make a pickup appointment before 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, Sept. 20. No appointments will be made after that time; no pickup will be made without an appointment
