They’ve done it in the city, now the candidates running for office in the town of Newburgh are lining up for a Candidates Forum scheduled for Thursday, October 27.
Local attorney Michael Mazzariello will moderate the event, which will include separate question-and-answer forums with candidates for town council and for town supervisor.
The invited candidates are incumbent supervisor Wayne Booth, his challenger, Stephen Krasner, a Democrat, along with incumbent councilman Gil Paiquado and George Woolsey and three challengers for their seats, Democrats William Corbin, Jr. and Vanessa Tirado and Gart McEntee, Sr., who is running on the Independence Party ticket.
The town of Newburgh Candidates Forum will be held on October 27 from 7 to 9;30 pm at the Hampton Inn, 1292 Route 300, Newburgh, behind Gateway Diner. The public is invited and seating is limited, on a first come, first served basis.
