Local photographer Maureen Moore enjoyed seeing the Lynx Privateer, a replica of an 1812 ship tied up at the dock in the Newburgh waterfront that she went to see it three times.
First she took a photo of people touring the ship with the Newburgh-Beacon bridge in the background.
Then she returned shortly after sunrise on Saturday morning, when the sun first rose above Mount Beacon, to take another photo of the ship.
Finally, she says she couldn’t resist returning a third time for this shot of the Lynx under full sail on the Hudson on Saturday afternoon.
