The city of Newburgh Narcotics Division and SWAT team executed a search warrant early Monday morning at 133 Johnston Street in the City of Newburgh following a two-month investigation initiated by the Narcotics Division.
Inside the residence investigators located a .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun as well as ammunition. The handgun had been reported stolen out of Middletown in October of 2009.
Jean Dennis, age 35, of the City of Newburgh has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen property in the second degree, both felonies.
