Police in the City of Newburgh are looking for a driver who witnesses say struck a pedestrian on Broadway near Liberty Street on Sunday evening, then drove away.
Witnesses of the accident report seeing a blue sedan with gold plates, possibly a newer BMW, which was driven with by a white female with blonde hair. The sedan struck a pedestrian walking across Broadway near Liberty Street shortly before 5 pm. The unidentified pedestrian was unconscious and transferred to Westchester Medical Center.
The City of Newburgh Police Detective Division is investigating a serious physical injury hit and run accident that occurred on 11/20/11 at 1655hrs. The suspect vehicle struck a pedestrian walking across Broadway in the area of Liberty St. The pedestrian was unconscious and transferred to Westchester Medical Center.
