City leaders would like it to stay, but the stop light on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Colden Street was removed on Friday, as highway construction is the area has wrapped up.
The traffic signal was intended to be temporary, part of the Robinson Ave. Reconstruction Highway Work Permit. City officials are continuing discussions with New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) to see if a permanent signal can be installed at the site.
