A Christmas Carol Benefit Production
Mount Saint Mary College will present The Puppet People production of A Christmas Carol on Sunday, December 4 from 1 to 2 p.m.
The family friendly version of the holiday classic will be staged in Hudson Hall, on campus at 330 Powell Avenue, Newburgh, N.Y.
All proceeds will benefit the Mount Saint Mary College campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Mount students recently worked alongside members of the international volunteer program at the 50th Habitat house in Newburgh, N.Y., the Deirdre Glenn House at 65 Courtney Avenue, where they helped landscape the site.

Free Christmas Vespers Concert
The sounds of Christmas Vespers will fill the Chapel of the Holy Rosary on Sunday, December 4 when the Mount Saint Mary College Choir is joined by members of the St. Philip’s Church Choir from Garrison and the members of the college’s Arts and Letters program. Dr. Durward Entrekin, professor of music, serves as director of the Mount Saint Mary College and St. Philip’s Church choirs.
The program will include a service of nine lessons and carols, including works by Felix Mendelssohn, Benjamin Britten, Gustav Holst and Morten Lauridsen.
The free public event begins at 7 p.m.in the Chapel of the Holy Rosary in the Dominican Center on campus, 330 Powell Avenue, Newburgh, N.Y.
Professional orchestral musicians from the Hudson Valley and readers from the college community will also be featured. The concert is free and begins at 7 pm at the chapel in Dominican Center on campus at 330 Powell Avenue in Newburgh.
