Mayor Valentine received a recognition for his tailoring donations to Mount Saint Mary College's choir.
In the days and weeks ahead two-term Mayor Nicholas Valentine will be feted around the city for his eight years of service as mayor but this past Sunday he was honored for his other profession that he will be tending to fulltime after leaving office on January 1.
After Mount Saint Mary College’s annual Christmas Vespers on Sunday, the college recognized Valentine, owner and manager of Broadway Tailors in Newburgh for providing classic tailored tuxedos for the choir since the mid-1970s.
