A free Rabies Clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets will be held at the City of Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington Street, on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from noon-3 p.m. The clinic, sponsored by the Orange County Department of Health and the City of Newburgh Police Department, is available to all Orange County residents. To pre-register, please call 569-7311 or stop by the City Clerk’s office, City Hall, first floor, 83 Broadway. You must bring proof of prior rabies vaccination for a three-year vaccination.
CANS FOR KIBBLE
A drop box will be provided for collecting cleaned recycled cans to help fund a new Pouches Food Pantry, for people that can’t purchase necessary items for their animals.
The Hudson Valley SPCA will raffle off baskets full of dog and cat goodies, valued at $100 each. The raffle is sponsored by Positively Pets, 317 Windsor Highway, New Windsor.
Dogs must be leashed. Cats and ferrets must be in crates.
