Four girls from Heritage Middle School performed a brief step dance in front of the Newburgh City Council at the start of its Tuesday’s evening session.
The young teens are part of the 21st Century Community Learning Center’s Step Team and their performance followed the reading of a proclamation by the city that recognized Black History Month, singling out the contributions of women.
