Gingrich on Trump's WH Bid: 'Lot More Fun Than a Yacht'

Despite the fact that the investigators, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller, are planning to follow the growing amount of evidence that shows possible presidential obstruction of justice and questionable ties between Trump’s team and Russia, Gingrich offered the ludicrous conspiracy theory that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will only throw people in prison because they are desperate to nail somebody.

The former House speaker and Trump surrogate addressed the ongoing probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and the left’s desperation to uncover anything that would incriminate Trump and lead to impeachment.

Asked whether Trump was confirming the existence of an investigation into himself using the tweet, Gingrich replied: “I have no idea what he thought he was doing”.

“They’re going to get somebody”.

The former speaker tweeted Thursday that Mueller was ‘clearly the tip of the deep state spear aimed at destroying or undermining and crippling the Trump presidency’.

Gingrich, however, defended Trump’s infuriation as legitimate because of “the whole Russian baloney”. I know you disagree but I don’t care.
