As months pass by Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 will be soon entering into mass production.
“This ultra-thin full cover curved tempered glass screen protector for the iPhone 8 from Olixar offers toughness, high visibility and sensitivity all in one package”. Past iPhone 8 rumors have emphasized a slim and lightweight bezel for the phone on all four sides of its front side, mirroring an increasingly popular design choice found on competing high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S8. “Features complete edge to edge screen protection for black phones”, reads the product description on the MobileFun website. Since Apple has not made anything official about the device so far, it’s really confusing to see a screen protector for the phone already making an appearance online. This means the iPhone 8 will be the first iPhone using OLED instead of IPS LCD and the first to offer a true edge-to-edge screen.
AN APPLE accessory manufacturer may have confirmed one of the most persistent rumours about the iPhone 8. It is 3D Touch compatible, meaning the screen protector would not affect the 3D Touch function. The latest is a tempered glass manufactured by Olixar, Know Your Mobile reported.
The screen protector is available for pre-orders at a starting price of $31.99. Earlier this month, reported leaked images of the iPhone 8 featured a almost identical design for the phone’s front screen layout, including the top partial lip for sensors and the front-facing camera.
But the components were said to have been on there way to Chinese manufactures, so it is hard to say if they are reputable or not.
In the future, long after you’ve used and gotten sick of your iPhone 8 and when the 9 is underway, make sure you take a look at the forthcoming accessories if you’re curious about the device’s layout.
And users have come to demand a slew of technology, specifically the edge-to-edge screen.
