Motorola Moto C Plus India launch today

Moto G4 Play is a low-priced Android smartphone offering from Motorola. Motorola has been teasing the device for quite sometime.

Moto C was launched at a starting price of Euro 119 for 1GBRAM/16GB storage model, thus based on its European market pricing, the smartphone could cost somewhere around Rs 8,300 in India.

Motorola will be live streaming the Moto C Plus launch in India. And now it appears that the update has started rolling out, as Moto G4 Play users in Brazil have started receiving the Nougat update. Moto C and Moto Plus run on Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, which gives them an edge over Xiaomi which still run on Marshmallow.

On the camera front, the Moto C Plus sports an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture, while the front camera is a 2-megapixel camera with f/2.8 aperture. The calling feature – or in other words the USP – of the device is its 4000mAh battery. The phone would feature a display with quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels on a 5.5 Inch display.

In any case the day has finally come when the Lenovo-owned brand will be officially launching the smartphone in India today. While Moto C Plus which was also first launched globally last month it is now coming to India.

It has 2GB RAM and has a 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. At the event, Motorola will be announcing the pricing details and availability of the Moto C Plus. However, just the way it did with the Moto C, Motorola could bring a new variant of the device for India, probably a cheaper one.

Further the smartphone is backed by a non-removable a 2350mAh battery, and also comes with capacitive navigation buttons and 3.5mm audio jack sits on the top of the Moto C, and also supports micro-USB port.
