Vigil for North Royalton murder victims

After police entered, and took Brinkman into custody, he didn’t say anything, police said.

Taylor Pifer was a manager at the Fashion School Store in downtown Kent. Kylie Pifer, who studied biology, recently finished her freshman year at Bowling Green State University.

North Royalton police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating.

OH police arrested a 45-year-old man on Tuesday in connection with the triple homicide of a North Royalton mother and her two adult daughters whose bodies were found in a bed next to each other, reports say.

A report via People cited Detective Dave Loeding saying Brinkman specifically targeted the women and that the attack was not random.

Investigators said Taylor was stabbed at least once, but the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has not revealed how she or her daughters died.

The name of the suspect was not immediately released.

Stark County Sheriff George Maier says the bodies of 71-year-old Rogell John and his wife, 64-year-old Roberta John, were discovered at their Canton home after 4 p.m. Monday. They were found dead Monday.

In the hours before the arrest Brinkman, who was armed, had been threatening to take his own life inside the detached home of a friend in Ohio.

Police originally stated that one of the victims was shot to death but amended the information shortly thereafter, according to WEWS. However, nobody was seriously harmed.

Suzanne Taylor’s funeral will be Saturday, June 17, also at A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home. Authorities told all neighbors to stay inside while they attempted to negotiate with the suspect. He is now being held on a $2 million bond.

According to Kylie and Taylor’s stepmother, Sonya Pifer, the sisters’ biological father had been estranged from them for several years, reported Cleveland19.

Brinkman had dated the John’s daughter and also worked for Rogell John. Although he was “Facebook friends” with Suzanne Taylor, authorities are unsure how well the suspect knew the victim or her daughters. The mother and her daughters were found in Suzanne’s bed.
